GPS Navigation
Yes, thats right, this phone is capable of GPS navigation, with a bluetooth GPS receiver.
Supposedly this phone didn't have the SPP profile, I primarily bought my GPS receiver for my Nokia E62. I decided to try and see if i could get it to work with my Motorola V3XX, suprisingly it did!
Heres what you need:
- Bluetooth GPS receiver
- Java nag disabled (see common mods page)
- Mobile GMaps 1.3 stable, Motorola A780, KRZR K1M version
- Unlimited interent/data plan like MediaMax 200
- Somewhere to go :)
I don't know if every bluetooth GPS receiver will work with the V3XX, but the one i know does work is the:
OnCourse Bluetooth GPS Receiver Edition 3 (WAAS enabled)
I bought it from www.buygpsnow.com for 50 bucks before shipping, not bad! It works brilliantly, excellent reception and pretty quick at aquiring a lock, highly recommended!!
